Case Study - Well Enhancement

In a characterization of a reservoir, the final stages of mature fields require a lot of study and great caution in decision making. So being able to use technologies that maximize the production is the key to success at this stage.

In 2007, Helium survey was done in the mature field Yagunskoye Yuznho, in Western Siberia, to Lukoil, after water injections. The field, developed in 1983, had very high levels of water cut (up to 80%), in the final stages of production. After the Helium prospection, AGI established 10 optimum wells that operate with average production of 250 barrels per day.
