History

AGI Brazil is a brazilian company specialized in measuring the Helium flow at the surface in order to map oil & gas reservoirs and optimize other technologies (such as, 2D and 3D seismic) to further help recommendate sweet spots for drilling.

Founded in 2012, the company has the exclusive rights over the technology developed by Actual Geology (Russia) to commercialize it in Latin America. Our detection system is patented, it's a unique technology in the world.

Until 2011, the Helium survey technology wasn't very much known outside Russia, as its first scientific research had began in the 60's at the Former Soviet Union. The technology's inventor, Professor Chistyakov, Ph.D, led the drilling of more than 2,000 wells during the Soviet Union.

In 1992, Prof. Chistyakov created the Actual Geology with the vision to develop and refine the practical application of Helium survey and since then has already done more than 50 sucessful projects with the main russian oil companies, such as: Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil and Ritek.

In 2011, Actual Geology decided to expand overseas, so it has created AGI, Actual Geology International, in order to execute the Helium survey all over the world. In less than 2 years there has been projects in countries such as Brazil, Australia, United States, and others (see tab Clients).
