The graph below shows the Helium concentration profile in different media. As can be seen, the Helium concentration (horizontal axe) is a lot higher in oil presence than in media without hydrocarbons, for instance, water and atmosphere. In 1, the Helium concentration in water is 44 ppt - parts per trillion and in 2, Helium concentration is 5.2 ppm - partes per million. In 3, the average concentration of Helium in oil is 700 ppm.

 

Thus, the graph evidences that there is at least two orders of magnitude between Helium concentration in media with and without hydrocarbons. In simple terms, this difference enables AGI's technology to determine if an area has a relevant amount of oil and/or gas.
